That Time of Year

Pumpkins for pies and lemons from our tree.  Reserving seeds for toasting.
Half--or more than half--the reason to eat pumpkin pie is the whipped cream.
Camillas (love the peppermint striped ones) and Chanukah in December.
Firewood from an oak we had cut some years ago is finally dry enough to really burn.

  1. Wow, you cook down your own pumpkin? Very impressive! And that striped camellia is lovely. :)

  2. I love my Camilla tree on my front porch. One of the best things about the south is the luxury of being able to enjoy this during winter months.
Love your pie and your menorah is lovely.
