Sweet Relief

We've turned on the heater and put an extra blanket on the bed.  Little bits of red and gold and yellow begin to tinge the land.
I exclaimed at a runner this morning in shorts and a t-shirt.  But she was running FAST.  Fast home, I'd guess.
Everyone else ambling along with their dogs wore long pants and fleece jackets.
It's the peaking start of fall and I love it.  The sweet relief from the sweltering heat and insects.
