Rosh Hashanah was a week ago. Oh well. I don't really celebrate it anyway, but I thought it would be nice to make this honey cake at the right time of year.
Two cups of honey, a whole cup of sugar, and a half cup of Coca-cola. And my youngest turned up his nose and said it was too bitter.
Mmmm... honey and coca cola, what could be bad? Any time I went to Rosh Hashanah dinners I went to the cakes were all pretty bitter, tasteless and dry. My husband always said that that is not how they were supposed to be. His family were never good at cooking. Must say I never tried honey cake, yours looks good.

I've never had honey cake, but it sounds quite yummy! I might just have to find a recipe and give it a try!
